The opportunity to travel between Paris and Saint-Saturnin (Puy-de-Dôme), to immerse oneself in both places and territories, to meet and exchange ideas, to listen, to get involved in each place in public and private « affairs » and in associations, to come face to face with diverse, rich realities; from all this came the intuition of the essay that I am happy to share with you today and the awareness of a responsibility: that of trying to help prevent the changes underway from being synonymous with conflict or isolation, both individual and collective.
From this 238-page essay is extracted a 48-page Cahier, « Metaphor of the hedge » (printed in Auvergne) which aims to illustrate the fact that the hedge, a « high potential » boundary, assumed and built, makes possible and harmonious cohabitation, like a landscape, of homogeneity and heterogeneity. This is illustrated by a selection of applications, some of which are current.
Enjoy your reading and I look forward to the exchange.
